2

Tap the + icon

Tap the + icon next to the search bar and select Camera or Image Upload.

Tips for Better Food Recognition

Uploading Body Composition Scans

Got a DEXA scan, InBody report, or smart scale readout? QBod can extract the data for you:

1

Go to Quick Log

Tap the Actions tab (the Action Hub), choose Body, and pick the metric you want to log.

2

Tap the upload icon

In the Body Comp sheet, tap the photo/upload icon to add an image.

3

Select your scan

Choose a photo from your library. This can be a screenshot of your smart scale app, a photo of a DEXA printout, or an InBody report.

4

Review extracted data

QBod's AI pulls out measurements like weight, body fat percentage, and muscle mass. Check the values to make sure they're correct.

5

Note on Accuracy

AI reading works best with clear, well-lit photos. If the AI misreads any values, you can edit them by hand before saving. Always check that the data matches your original scan.

Editing AI Suggestions

For Food Photos:

  1. Tap on the incorrectly identified item
  2. Search for the correct food
  3. Adjust portion size if needed
  4. Tap Replace

For Body Comp Scans:

  1. Tap on any extracted value
  2. Enter the correct number
  3. Repeat for any other incorrect values
  4. Tap Save

Privacy Note

Photos are used to read your data and aren't kept long-term. Only the values we read are saved to your account.
