Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

This page explains the consumer health data QBod handles under the Washington My Health My Data Act and Nevada's consumer health data law.
1. Health information we collect

2. Why we use it
Only to run QBod for you: set targets, track progress, coach you, read photos and voice notes you send, keep and display your medications and supplements records, draw workout maps, and keep the app working. We don't use health information for advertising and we don't sell it.
Medication records are shown back to you and are not used for coaching.
3. Who receives it

We have no affiliates.
Our AI providers receive the profile information and content needed to provide the feature, which may include your name and identifying details you enter. This information is not anonymised.
Garmin, Fitbit and Oura send data to us; we don't send your health data to them. Google receives app and website usage information, such as which screens are opened and device type, but not your health entries. No third party collects consumer health data about you over time and across other websites or apps through QBod.
Your health data is stored in the United States by our hosting provider and processed only to run QBod for you.
4. Your rights
In Washington and Nevada, you can ask what health data we hold and who receives it, get a copy, correct or delete it, and withdraw consent. You can also stop sharing with a trainer by disconnecting them.
You can edit or delete logs where you made them, or use Profile > Delete Account. Turn off Apple Health or Health Connect in your phone's settings, or disconnect devices in Profile > Wearables. To withdraw consent for AI coaching, email support@qbod.fit.
Email support@qbod.fit with the subject "Health Data Request". We reply within 30 days. If we deny your request, email support@qbod.fit to appeal. In Washington, you may complain to the Attorney General.

5. How long we keep it
Health data stays with your account until you delete it or the account, except raw imported samples (most deleted after 90 days), daily position (14 days) and chat attachments (90 days). Removing a medication keeps its history; email us to delete it.
6. Security
We use encrypted connections, owner-only access rules on health tables, and encryption at rest at our host.
7. Changes and contact
When we change this policy we update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use your health information, we tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
